Places available for children aged 9 months-5 years.
Our Meadow room is a large open space designed to meet all the needs of the youngest children in our setting from 9 months through to 2 years old. This extra large space for younger children offers more freedom to explore, engage, interact and develop independence.
The room has a lovely little home corner, cozy reading corner and dedicated sleeping space, an indoor climbing frame, sensory area, a large arts and crafts, messy area and a block and small world play space.
Our Crib is connected to both our Meadow and Forest rooms, this is a multiple purpose space that is used for small group experiences, sleep routines and special occasions. Having a dedicated sleep space supports healthy sleep routines for children.
Our Forest Room is a large open plan space designed to inspire and engage young children aged 3-4 years old. The space is designed to support children's understanding of where things live, how we look after our things and yet be open enough to offer a fluidity to how things are used and explored by the children, ensuring independence is at the heart of every decision.
The room contains an investigation and exploration space, small world and block play space, arts and crafts space, water and sand play, continuous painting provision, a play dough space and an open cozy corner with home corner and role play resources
We have a beautiful large open garden with access to physical equipment, natural play and an outdoor learning environment. We encourage children to explore and enjoy the outdoor areas without the needs for 'toys' by offering natural objects to be explored and providing continuous provision that compliments outdoor experiences.
We have a smaller fenced garden which we call The Nook, this is a place designed for sensory experiences and safe place for our smallest children to explore safely when not using the larger garden.
We have a beautiful large open forest area called the Forest of Eve. This area was developed in memory of Eve Dixon. It is a special area that we use for sensory play and forest school.
